Fifth-Generation Montanan.
Photographer. Guide.
Conservationist.
I grew up on the rivers and in the mountains of southwest Montana, the fifth generation of my family to call this place home. Since the late 1800s, my family has operated a cattle ranch in the upper Big Hole and a fly-fishing lodge since 1984, which I now run. I've guided hundreds of anglers down rivers. That intimacy — with the water, the landscape, my clients — is what I bring to every shoot.
I started photographing seriously because I wanted to show the importance and fragility of our outdoor heritage. The West that we’re losing. And the real thing. Not a stock image or artificial prompt readout.
THE WORK
I've produced commercial photography and video for companies like Orvis, Patagonia, Aziak Equipment, and many others across the outdoor, hospitality, and lifestyle categories.
I'm available for brand campaigns, ambassador programs, editorial assignments, licensing, fine art prints, and location-based commercial work. I travel. I move fast. I know how to work in remote terrain without making a production of it.
"This isn't the West I read about. It's the one I grew up in."
